LEGAL MATTERS
CONCERNING

COPYRIGHT (c) 1996 NATHAN FOUTS
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The file DBALL.ZIP must be distributed freely. It is shareware. No one
may charge money for a copy of this program.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Only the author may charge money for a registration number. No one else
is allowed to distribute registration numbers. Even though they may have
already paid for their own, this does not mean that they may then sell
it freely.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When distributed it must contain the following files:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The copyright may not be removed from any of the accompanying files.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The registration number issued to a user MAY NOT be distributed. This is
to be used solely by the user for whom it was issued, after they paid
the registration fee.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The status of this program is somewhat unique. The file DBALL.ZIP contains
both the shareware and full versions of DeathBall Incarnate. As long
as the shareware option is selected at the registration screen, everyone
is free to play it. It is when the full version is selected and the
proper name and registration number entered that only the registered
user may have access to play it.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Again, the game may be distributed freely as long as:
* All the files listed above are included
* The registration number protection is still intact
The last requirement means that no tampering with the registration system
may be done, such as disassembling or reverse compiling of the program,
or anything that would render the registration protection useless.
Also, no tampering may be done so as to remove the full version from the
sharware version so that access to the full version is free.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This program is the result of many months of hard work devoted by many
people. Do not let this work go unrecognized. Register your copy of
DeathBall Incarnate in order to play the full version. Stand against
software piracy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
This program was VIRUS-FREE when it was released into the public domain.
Therefore, any damages incurred directly or indirectly by this program
because of a computer virus are not the responsibility of the author
or any other member of the DeathBall Incarnate development team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
If, during the emailing of the registration number to user who has
paid for registration and is awaiting the number, a third party somehow
intercepts or views the email with the registration number in it, it is
not the responsibility of the author. The user takes this risk of other
people viewing the number (and therefore, effectively paying for this number
also for them) when the user registers.
